Satin Demi Pointe Shoe. Excellent pre pointe shoe to develop and strengthen the muscles in preparation for pointe work. The Wear Moi Demi Pointe features an elastic drawstring to ensure a neat fit to the foot.
The Demi-pointe is a transitional shoe from the ballet flat to the pointe shoe and is designed to provide the correct amount of resistance for foot and ankle strengthening in preparation for pointe work. The S0135 Demi pointe has a leather outsole and is made in the same last as the Sylphide pointe shoe. The generous internal space of the box area allows the foot to be inserted deep into the shoe. The resistance of the leather sole ensures that maximum strength is gained from working in the S0135 Demi-pointe.
The Demi-pointe is a transitional shoe from the ballet flat to the pointe shoe and is designed to provide the correct amount of resistance for foot and ankle strengthening in preparation for pointe work. The Soft Sole Demi has a soft suede sole and is made on the same last as the Suprima pointe shoe. This Demi-pointe has a streamline shape and fits snugly at the heel because of the tapered and narrow last. The suede sole has a narrow waist and closely mimics the natural contours of the foot staying in close contact with the instep. This shoe has low cut sides and accentuates the profile of the foot.
The Aspiration pointe shoe is designed to give the dancer when 'en pointe' the feeling of being elevated up out of the shoe and held away from the floor. The shank/insole has an extra board shortened under the metatarsal which provides stability and support, however this extra strength in the shank/insole does not extend to the heel. This allows the foot to arch at the three/quarter point with the heel being able to arch away from the foot. The platform is both high and wide to allow maximum balance when 'en pointe'.
The Concerta pointe shoe is made on a curved last which emphasises the line of the arch and is suitable for dancers with less defined insteps. The curved last maintains contact with the instep when the foot is 'en pointe' creating a shape like an open letter 'C'. The vamp is medium to short in length which assists the dancer to get 'en pointe' by bringing the weight over onto the platform. The slightly sloped angle of the platform facilitates the transition from flat, through demi pointe and onto pointe.
The European Balance pointe shoe is made on a curved last which closely mimics the natural contours of the foot. This allows the shank/insole to have close contact with the instep. The wide platform encourages balanced weight distribution and can reduce pressure on individual metatarsals. The diagonal side seams reduce satin creasing. This shoe's low profile and open throat line together with the elastic drawstring create a streamlined, snug fit.
The Heritage is a Russian inspired pointe shoe with a V shaped Vamp. It is streamlined and light with a large platform providing control 'en pointe' for ease of balancing and turning. The medium strength composite shank/insole supports while allowing ease through Demi pointe. The Heritage is made on a last with a gradual and evenly distributed curve. The shoe hugs and supports the foot 'en pointe'. The outsole and flat pleating neatly integrate into the shoe creating a smooth surface to give the dancer stability when running, walking or standing.
The Serenade pointe shoe shank/insole gives support under the metatarsal which assists in holding the foot back in the shoe. The oblong shaped platform with less height in the box helps give lateral support when 'en pointe'. This platform shape can help support a dancer inclined to sickle or fall off pointe sideways.
The Suprima pointe shoe is made on a narrow last which gives the shoe a streamlined shape fitting snugly at the heel. The box is tapered down to the oval platform giving an elegant line to the foot and leg. The standard vamp length and shank/insole support the foot and instep.
The Sylphide pointe shoe is made on a conventional last. The E fitting of these shoes is the widest inside fitting of all Bloch styles of pointe shoes. The shank/insole offers less resistance under the metatarsal allowing the toes to arch over assisting the dancer to roll up onto pointe. The medium length vamp encourages the foot to be correctly positioned on the oval platform. This shoe is suitable for beginners and for the wide or young foot which has had little training in pointe work.
The Synergy pointe shoe gives the dancer the feeling of being elevated up and away from the floor. This shoe holds the foot high and centred giving the dancer stability and the aesthetic appearance of an upside down letter L when 'en pointe'. The high and wide platform with the unique stitching around the box and wings of the Synergy give extra support to the dancer when 'en pointe'. The foot is supported by the many areas of contact inside the box so the metatarsals are held firm and the toes straight. This shoe is best suited to dancers with highly flexible insteps and ankles. The open design of the U shaped vamp enhances the line of the leg.
